Simply because we have struggled with this problem before.
For Duy, the story started all the way back to his high school senior year when he planned to go to prom. He didn’t have a single suit, and after weeks of searching, he found nothing he could afford. Going to college, he needed to borrow his friends’ suits for events.
For Jogi, he first noticed this issue when he earned an interview in his freshman semester. After going from store to store and searching online, Jogi did not feel comfortable spending too much for attire he only needed one time. After many days of finding nothing, Jogi was lucky a friend lent him his suit.
The problem is real. Students dedicate so much time and effort to preparing for events, interviews, career fairs, and more. Why should all this effort be wasted because of access to professional attire?
We believe in the power of students helping students. With the student community, we are committed to solving this problem!
